Homemade Whipped Cream is the holy grail topping of any dessert you’ll make. It’s light, sweet, and easier to make than most think! All you need is a cold bowl, heavy whipping cream, and sugar. You can add flavors to spruce your whip up a bit. Some of my personal faves are cinnamon and specialty liqueurs. No more canned stuff!

- 1 cup cold heavy whipping cream
- 2 tablespoons sugar
- 1/2 teaspoon vanilla or other flavorings or liqueurs
Place mixing bowl and whisk in freezer for at least 20 minutes to chill.
Pour heavy whipping cream, sugar and vanilla into the cold bowl and whisk fast until medium to stiff peaks form, about 1 minute. Be sure to lift hand to incorporate more air into the whip.
Do not over beat, or whipped cream will break.
